L’Chaim & Loans: An Evening of Flavor, Community and Full Circle Connections
Good food, thoughtfully paired whiskey and a meaningful community connection came together on October 22, 2026, as Jewish Free Loan welcomed 50 guests to NextSpace for L’Chaim & Loans: An Evening of Whiskey & Impact.
Led by Jordan Curwin of AZ Whiskey Tasting, guests enjoyed a five-course kosher whiskey tasting paired with delicious kosher food from M Culinary. Throughout the evening, Jordan shared insights into the Jewish history of whiskey and explored how different whiskeys complemented each course, creating an elevated experience filled with conversation and discovery.
The gathering also marked the first event in JFL’s Full Circle Speaker Series, which brings JFL’s work to life through stories from those who have both received an interest-free loan and chosen to give back.
For Jordan, that connection is personal. An interest-free education loan from JFL helped him focus on school while limiting the additional debt he needed to take on. His family joined him in sharing what that support meant to them, offering guests a glimpse into the difference an interest-free loan can make for a student and those closest to them.
Today, Jordan is a proud JFL donor and board member. His journey from loan recipient to supporter reflects the spirit of Full Circle: receiving support, moving forward and helping make that same opportunity available to someone else.
