A Meaningful Evening at JFL’s 2026 Gratitude Gathering
On May 5, JFL held our annual meeting celebrating a year of impact, growth, and meaningful accomplishments. Since June 1, 2025 alone, we’ve distributed more than $550,000 in interest-free loans to over 115 households across our community. In the past year, we’ve responded to nearly 400 inquiries for assistance, reflecting the growing financial challenges facing so many individuals and families. Today, nearly $2 million in active loans are helping support more than 350 households throughout Arizona with compassionate, interest-free assistance when it is needed most.
The evening featured a special presentation honoring our inaugural Community Service Award recipients. We are proud to recognize the ILJCC Security Team and the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus Team as our first honorees. The award celebrates individuals and organizations whose exceptional commitment, generosity and leadership have made a significant and lasting impact in our community. We are deeply grateful to these outstanding individuals for their unwavering commitment to safely and security, and for helping to foster a welcoming, vibrant, and thriving campus for all.
We took time to honor the generosity within our community by recognizing our Ma’or Society members-individuals whose cumulative giving totals $75,000 or more. In addition, we welcomed our newest Legacy Society members. These visionary donors have established planned gifts to help ensure that Jewish Free Loan can continue providing interest-free loans to Jewish Arizonans for generations to come.
We also introduced a brand-new opportunity called The Kehillah Loan Fund Program. The Program requires a minimum tax-deductible gift of $25,000, payable over five years. Each fund can be named in honor of an individual or group of individuals of the donors’ choosing and focus on the area of JFL’s work with which they resonate most.
